Friends and I were visiting Amsterdam for a couple of days. It was a very spontaneous trip, and in the end a little bit short, but fun nonetheless.
The pictures were taken in a hurry, because it was New Year's Eve and there was a lot of things to prepare. I was visting a friend in Hamburg and we squeezed a short sightseeing tour into the weekend.
The Landschaftspark Duisburg used to be a coal mine. The mine being closed, it's now something like a muesum and an interesting park.
Although every picture obviously has a place where it has been taken, in "Anywhere" I put pictures which really doesn't fit the current available galleries. That might change though.
Although I was living more than a year in Düsseldorf, I never really took a lot of pictures. Most pictures shown in that gallery are from the well-known Medienhafen with its strange buildings and the Landtag.
On a daytrip to Cologne (GamesCom), I sat down at the Rhein Promenade and watched couple of street musicians giving a concert. Enjoyed it.
As we were driving to Winterberg, NRW, it began to snow on the very last kilometer. Until then, it was raining all the way. We expected the worse but although it was quite foggy, a fun trip.
It was a small Flashmob. They had to line-up and follow the leader through different stores.
The Zombiewalk is a yearly event which takes place in different cities around the globe. Very cool customes and good photography material. I really enjoyed taking photos while trying to not get eaten by a horde of zombies :-)
